Friends and Neighbors......
I began my service to Edgmont Township in 1995, as a volunteer fireman. In 2005, I began serving on the Township’s Planning Commission and have been a Township Supervisor for four years. My (mostly) volunteer service to our community has been offered as part of my family’s four generation residence in Edgmont. My mother and father were farmers and fiercely protective of the character and beauty of the Township, something that I, too, believe is critical. In fact, acting to preserve open space, my family has designated most of its property in Edgmont as an Agricultural Security Area not subject to further development.
As a board member of the Delaware County Conservation District, I am committed to preserving our waterways and protecting our environment.
In my opinion, the upcoming local election is not about Republican or Democrat issues, it’s about Edgmont issues, so I ask you to come out on May 18th and vote for Lindsey Conan for Supervisor.

I want to share with you some of the positive accomplishments of Edgmont Township over the past few years:
* Adopting ordinances requiring the preservation of at least 40% Open Space in each development, including White Horse Village, Brick House Farms, Summerhill, Enclave and Runnymeade Farms
* Edgmont received the honor of Delaware County's Heritage Preservation Award as well as the William Bates Award for excellence.
* Edgmont Township has been successful in gaining $1.5 million recently in grants to aid in lowering Sewer project costs and funding for the new Community Park.
* Successful negotiation to expand well testing from 75 to 450 feet from the pipeline.
* Requirement for a two week notice to residents before any pipeline work commences within the Township.
* Increase of buffer area for Rider's Run residents, including taller conifers.
* Revision of the Township ordinances to tighten restrictions on developers
* Edgmont stands out among other county communities as a leader by promoting sustainable ordinances- geothermal, solar and wind energy
Edgmont Township officials provide excellent representation to its voters, and its experienced staff consistently provides public service.
